When Dundee College joined forces with Angus College, we didn’t just merge names; we sparked a whole new identity. As part of the in-house Marketing team, I had the exciting challenge of leading the full rebrand from the ground up.
Enter D&A College: bold, modern, and ready to turn the page on a fresh chapter in further education. I crafted the brand strategy, designed the visual identity, and helped bring it all to life — from eye-catching signage to launch campaigns that made people sit up and take notice.
This wasn’t just about picking colours and designing a logo — it was about uniting two proud institutions under one shared vision. I worked closely with staff, students, and stakeholders across both campuses to capture the heart of what made them special, and then distilled it into a brand that felt fresh, authentic, and future-focused.
From day one, the goal was clear: to make the new identity feel like something people could believe in — not just a change of name, but a leap forward. Seeing the new brand embraced across campuses, in prospectuses, on social media, and at events was genuinely rewarding. It proved what good design and a clear story can do: create unity, energy, and real momentum.
It was a creative whirlwind, a branding masterclass, and one of the proudest projects I’ve ever steered from concept to rollout.
