When Kiltman set out to reinvent itself for a new generation, it wasn’t just about modernising a logo — it was about honouring centuries of Highland tradition while forging a bold path forward. As lead designer on the project, I had the privilege of shaping a refreshed identity that stayed true to their roots yet spoke confidently to customers around the world..
From developing a refined tartan-inspired mark to designing cohesive packaging, swing tags, and digital assets, every touchpoint was carefully considered to create a seamless and elevated experience. The new visual identity celebrates the essence of Kiltman: rooted in tradition, tailored for today.
This wasn’t about simply updating an old brand — it was about weaving their story into every fold of their identity system. Seeing the new brand rolled out across stores, online platforms, and product ranges was deeply rewarding. It proved that when you combine clarity of strategy with design that respects its history, you create something powerful: a brand customers can wear with pride.
It was a journey of heritage, strategy, and craft — and one of the most meaningful branding projects I’ve had the honour of bringing to life.
